IDEA make tamed wolves behave like in minecraft

I love the idea of having a tamed wolf companion, but theyre just so impractical if you teleport a lot or boat a lot, they cannot port and getting them on a ship and getting them to STAY there is not easy..... please make them teleport to you if oyu move too far away it would save so much trouble

I use the mod on Nexus that allows wolves to teleport.

Also the one that shuts them the heck up.

I haven't got any wolf yet.

But having them in Minecraft, please make them better than in Minecraft.
In Minecraft I leave them at home as decoration because they're killing themselves half of the time.
