I really wish we could build ladders.
Until then just build stairs or even floor pieces up and jump on em then rip em down. Games all about building scaffolding atm.
There are step narrow tower ladders/stairs ... but why would you need a high structure that you could not build the inside on the way up?
I guess what we need are vertical ladders... because that thing is not a ladder in my mind.
Didn't it occur to you to place a floor tile on the roof so that you wouldn't fall off it?
SMH lol
Think about it... how do roofers work? They use a small platform on slanting roofs so that they may work safely and stand on something flat and level. You can do the same... you may place a floor tile practically anywhere. Hell, you can even build a series of tiles and use that as a ladder.
That's particularly useful for farming Guck in the swamps BTW ;)
So? Build another workbench o.O
You only need to get above or below a piece to see it or even better place a temporary short beam beside the last piece and you then get an easy snap to point.
You are special o.O
Thankfully there's a mod for that so I only have to get within range of the snapping, which is way too small.
I can't imagine trying to build with a controller how the system is right now and like all the other games, it's trying to go console...
how tall are your floors? i've never been out of range even on the roof of a building 3 logs tall
