Ores and cheese

We all saw alot of people complaining on why we cant teleport ores, and i saw a bunch of methods on how to transport ores via boats and even some funny harpoon methods with carts!!!
But let me tell you an easy method, Alright start a world bring some wood into it and build a dozen chests at the spawn........ now for the steps.
Step 1: gather Ores
Step 2: leave world join chest world Deposit ores
Step 3: go back to your real world tele back to base and log out (ore.... gather even more!!!!)
step 4: its real complicated here!!!! collect all ores from chest world (as many as you want!!!! 1100 pounds? why not your next to your storage in the other game!!!!) and go back again!!!!!
step 5:????
step 6: Profit!!!!!

Everyone has different playstyle, My Chacter will never ever travel to another wrold. So doing that easy step will never happen. That just my self rule for myself. I however agree that ores shoulnt go though teleport.

Well now its not an issue xD they dont have to and people can do this if they dont wanna mod. everyone can be happy with a method like this lol

Everyuone can play how they want. But so many people want to cry about it not being the 'intended' way to play and want to try and force their views on others. That's where a lot of the issues come from.
If we want to world hop, then let us world hop.
If we want to stick to just one world, we can stick to one world.
If we don't want to use teleporters ever, than don't.
If people want to play with mods, good for them.
If people want to mess around and use the dev commands, let them.

How others choose to play is up to them, and isn't going to ruin how you choose to play.
Because in the end, you choose how you want to play. That is what matters.
We play how we want.

This exact method is very well known and is the source of many of the arguments on these forums as to whether or not this is cheating or working as intended and usually those discussions include choice of play styles.

Just a heads up, we get 2-3 of these threads on this subject per week and it can get heated.

It was more about a cheese method so people realize they dont have to complain about it, make the game work for you if you dont enjoy the current system. I would say nothing is cheating if you do it solo or with friends who are okay with said method.

Agree, do whatever methods. i play on a server, and plenty of players bring all there engame gear, and loot from there other , or do whatever else. i never get mad. Its just a game mechanic, its freedom of choice

I could stand to do it in ARK because I could just fly over everything on an argent and have like 10 other argents follo wme as flying pack mules on metal runs.
But here in solo Valheim I like offloading to a 2nd world, makes me not hate the game. Definitely need at least 3 pickaxes if you're doing iron/silver runs.

I just built a smithy and worktable around my chests and upgraded them high as the gear needs to be repaired lol When i hop over i repair before i leave lol

Not sure why you wouldn't just mod the game at this point, but I guess if you're looking for a "no mods" setup sure.

Some people cant mod or dont know how to install them, they dont wanna learn. maybe not everyone on your server really wants to install a mod. For those of us willing to mod its easy. Shoot i know people that dont wanna create an account with nexus for the easy mod manager.
The point is there is an easy and fairly low time method of doing it here. Better then the 15+ minute boat ride if you ask me. plus sometiems its fun to find a vanilla way to cheese a game for some people lol

My opinion is that any mechanics in the game are fair to use and no one else's business to monitor or dictate rules to anyone else... We are in early access and obviously in a sort of "testing" stage here... with 6+ million people playing, every conceivable bug and exploit will end up being discovered and, if it's not something the devs intended, they will remove or tweak the game as needed.... Once the game is released in it's finished form, we will know what is or is not "intended", but, until we know that, "play on" and do it how you want because in the long run it just helps the game get better and better when the unwanted aspects are found and taken care of.
