Demo won't start

"the application couldn't start" "make sure the steam client is running" "ensure that you own a license..." Then the game shuts. Please help, I'm willing to grab it anytime soon.

- Added destructible objects on the road like: wood logs, metal junk, gates, tin shed, planks, chain link gates and fence, telephone poles and wooden barriers. Smash them all:)

In single player do you race alone or against bots?

I tried the demo and I was alone, so I wonder, are there bots in the campaign? I liked the demo alot, except for the fact that the car stops sometimes when steering too much. It shouldn't stop there imo. Hope the other cars drive better than the demo car....

I like this game a lot, but... (first impressions feedback)

I like the graphics, the car design, the tracks, the car's dashboards, the heavy sound of the engines, the breakable objects, its a cool and pretty solid game, but there is still some room for improvement. For example I had terrible performance on the 4th race when there is 5 opponents on the screen and lots of fog in the forest. At the start of the race I get 18 FPS, otherwise I play at around 60. But after the opponents disperse I slowly get the standard FPS back. Then I tried to lower everything on low...
