I beat the game with a keyboard and mouse. I tried the controller and it wasn't for me.

It's sacrilege to use a controller for FPS's on the PC.

TL;DR: Mouse and keyboard all the way.

I played through it on my friends PS3 using a controller (duh) on the hardest difficulty, and did the same on my now own PC with a mouse and keyboard... The sheer difference in control and maneuvers you can do on mouse and keyboard which you can't do on a controller is astonishing.

Thats what I prefer for first person shooter games.

I've played it with both on my system, sure enough I do prefer M&K, some times it is not possible, but still playing FPS games with a controller usually feels sluggish.

Mouse and Keyboard no doubt. For me its simple and like this - 1st person = MK: 3rd person = Controller...

Mousekeyteer all the way(thats old school slang for a mouse and keyboard user, think late 80's early 90's, circa wolfenstein 3d and spear of destiny, actually i think the devs from W3D and SoD coined the term, correct me if im wrong). tried a gamepad, was to sloppy when compared to the keyboard and mouse. Maybe that just shows how old i am(not really old, just old school). However gamepads have a place in the pc world, just not in the fps world!

As much as I'm M&K 'til day I die, I've been interested in Steams upcoming controller and chose to play BS:Infinite using the nVidia controller.

I used to have difficulty with controllers but it's now as 2nd-nature as my M&K (once I get to know the button layouts). Incorporating M&K-like layouts is what Steam's controller's suppose to bring... I can't wait.

both are viable, i usally use the sniper rifle and magnum so MKB for me because headshot=instakills
