Will never understand the Windows 10 conspiracy theorirsts out there
It's the same type of people that refused to switch over from Windows XP until literally every game dropped support for it. They just latch onto whatever dumb thing they read online that supports their bias. I see it with Windows 10 patches as well. A media outlet reports that a tiny number of users are having an issue with a new patch and they instantly go into full doomsayer mode and start talking everywhere about issues like it's affecting everyone and Microsoft is trying to destroy everyone's PC.
It's an easy and free upgrade and has big improvement over Win7 - besides isn't as painful as a Mac where they ask you to upgrade their OSes every single year.
It had a more intuitive interface, and not this half-smartphone thing.
It went faster faster in desk functions and had a better search system which actually also had win 10 but after the updates it disappeared.
and finally win 7 still had a decent privacy system, win 10 minds your business and sends them to the Micro.
I had a better experience in Win10 taking advantage of all my cores and ram, saw an increase in speed and performance running apps under Win10.
Interface is more polished and refined, Win7 did really show its age by the time I upgraded which was a simple and easy process. Sure Win7 was ok, but there were too many system patches to go through. 7 and 10 always called home, no much has changed in that regards.
Linux is free and won't send any data or make updates without asking/being prompted first.
As mentioned above, she doesn't really pay attention to you because she's always using her smart phone features. She's an addict, and stupid to boot. You explain simple things, like right-clicking, copy, paste. "What? Sorry, I can't do that." So you enter a command line and she gets this half dumb, half offended look on her face. Finally in desperation, you hold and drag the thing you want copied, like a stupid monkey (trying to write Shakespeare no doubt), and she's all, "Lemme get that for you."
Super jealous. You ever just unplug your internet for a while, or not touch your computer for a few days? As soon as Windows 10 connects again, she freaks out. "Where have you been!? Who have you been talking to?! Why didn't you text me every hour!?!" Then she proceeds to proverbially grab your HDD like it's your phone, and check every little thing before sending the reports back to Micro$oft.
Spoilsport. She knows you're going to play games with the guys that night. You check for updates six different times throughout the day, because you know she doesn't respect your plans. A few minutes after you've been talking on Discord your voice starts to distort and your game slows down. "Oh sorry, I just got an update. I'm going to need you to restart babe."
The list goes on, but I'm tired. 70GB sounds like too much. Windows 10 is a crappy relationship compared to the summer love of Windows 7. Still confident this game will be awesome.
