Why RTW Remastered have higher system requirements than GTA 5?
Ok, this is not funny.
I just red MINIMAL video card requirements for Rome Total War Remastered and compared to GTA5. Information is available on site: "Can you run it"

RTW
Pixel Shader 5.0 Vertex Shader 5.0 Dedicated Video Ram 1024MB

Gta 5
Pixel Shader 4.0 Vertex Shader 4.0 Dedicated Video Ram 1GB

How on earth is that possible? When I purchased it I expected it to be ok for a 2004 redrawn game. However I might not be able to run it with this requirements.

Does anyone have more information about system requirements?
BTW my video card is :
Pixel Shader 5.0 Vertex Shader 5.0 Dedicated Video Ram 64MB

How do you think guys, would I be able to play it? Thanks/

As far as I am aware the requirements haven't been released yet, so I wouldn't really trust what is said on a third party website.

You're high.

Specs haven't been released.

And pixel shader is nothing but a driver...

Most of the guys with early access have NASA computers so I'm expecting to have to suffer a bit on the graphics , I'm still running a I7 2600K

I very much doubt the min requirements will be higher than Shogun 2's.

Those content creators got 200+fps.
Sad but Packin' Apr 9, 2021 @ 12:34am
Why not just try the game when it's abvailable, and refund it if you can't run it?

So many of you guys might not realize this but publishers make contracts with vendors to make a game only able to run with a certain graphics card. There was once a game called Empire Earth II. It demanded you have the newest graphics card of a certain brand in order to run well.

People who had better graphics cards from the opposing brand could not run the game well....until it was discovered you could add your graphics card to the approved list in a notepad and the game would run great.
Why does a PC game from 2021 have higher system requirements than an XBOX 360 game?!?! I don't understand!!! /sarcasm
GreyWolf Apr 13, 2021 @ 2:03am
Just buy a new PC. Your specs are pathetic for 2021. And dont give me crap about having no money, you had 30 eur to buy a game, didnt you?
