Pressing R to speed up animations

Is there any way to permanently speed up animations on campaign map? I have to keep pressing R every turn, kind of annoying

If you right click during the end turn, it automatically will do everything at max speed.
Failing that you can disable watching characters move on the map in Gameplay Settings.

yeah but I mean when I'm moving my own troops during my turn

Spacebar used to speed it all, not sure why that was missed out!

pretty sure you can left click a second time when sending troops in order to speed up their animation

Yep, its weird that they removed the spacebar animation speed up. But you can still use right click while you move your own units to speed up the animation.

My diplomats are walking stupidly slow and space bar no longer speeds them up. I know if I hit the R button it makes them go faster but the next turn they are moving slow again. Is there no way to permanently speed them up?

Agreed same problem. Suspect it has been overlooked by the team and will be patched in at some point

yeah I just double click whenever I move to speed them up

Please someone tell me there is a way to fix this! Be it with an edited file or whatever but this is insanely annoying. Pressing "R" every. single. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ turn.
