Rome Total War is no longer available for purchase
This version of the game is now the only digital version available to purchase. It's more expensive than its predecessor. Anyone feeling cheated by CA?

It was removed because it's no longer supported and newer PCs and Windows 10 don't support it. You still get it if you buy the Remaster, just that it may not work on a modern PC or Windows 10 and up.

Ignorance.

It was removed to push this, happens a lot. I have Windows 10 and the game runs perfectly fine for me.

Huh, you seem to be correct. That is actually a really scummy thing to do.

Except it isnt.

You'll still be able to find codes online for Rome Total War + You will be getting the original Rome Total War in the purchase of the remaster.

So no, you're not being cheated by CA. You're just looking for meaningless attention.

What remaster doesn't do this? Happened with Bioshock, happened with Mass Effect. Particularly given the 50% off it makes sense-plus you can probably find a steam key for the original super cheap elsewhere if you really wanted that discount.

Plus from a customer perspective, people are idiots. Leave it for sale and 100% chance someone somewhere will buy the old one then complain as they thought it was the new one.

its more expensive because its a remaster thats brand new with 2 games included - rome 1 original and rome 1 remaster.its not really a surprise isit?

besides, if u already own rome 1, its half price for this remaster.

I dunnow. How much was Age of Empires 2 when it was remastered? 20 bucks or something?

I also can't recall people being all whiney about it; but then again. Steam users generally are whiney babies.

Yeah its 15 US dollars if you own rome total war. If you can't afford 15 US dollars then you should just sell your PC then cuz it seems like you are poor

Yeah I'll work out and decide for myself what games run on my system, thanks, not have CA produce a "remaster" that looks worse than the original and force folk to buy that.
