It would massively improve replayability if total war updated the online campaign feature across older games such as its conception with Napoleon.
I understand them not doing it with Rome 1 complete edition but now they are remastering it, its a perfect time bring the online campaign feature into Rome1
I think the biggest issue would be campaign time as its slow for 2 people, they would have to allow building, recruiting, research and diplomacy on the same turn, and only restrcting army movement to the players turn
Shogun 2, and of course warhammer 2 have coop campaign yea :)
I think that they must at least try to do that because of demand.
I suppose you could do Hotseat Campaigns through "Remote Play Together"
just get Any game with that feature in steam,
then go to the game folder of said remote play together title,
delete all contents, and replace it with the folder of kingdoms, and rename the .exe to the original .exe title of previous deleted game.
This should in theory allow you to stream the game to a friend, and you should both be able to control the mouse/keyboard... or at least the mouse i think.
