There should never been any excuse not to have, spent many hours playing on PS3. Cheers

Better late than never :)

Seriously though, good on them for finally reversing such a dumb mistake.

Does the controller support work with any controller, or just Xbox 360-compatible ones?

Saves are not compatible so you'll need to start over to unlock any achievements you had on GFWL.

I would imagine it will work with any pad that is compatible so if your controller works on other games that use the official 360/windows controller you should be fine.

I am completely stoked I came across this thread. I love the game and haven't played since I went to Xbox controller only because I now have my PC hooked up to my big screen! I soon as I got done reading the thread went and got my retail key and successfully activated the game and downloaded it on steam! Can't wait.

I am using motionjoy and a ps3 controller but the game will not register the controller at all even though motion joy has it connected and vibration tests work. any help on this would be great!

Try starting program before you start the game and make sure you have the 360 controller emulator box checked off in Motioinjoy, also make sure Bioshock 2 is updated. Cheers

And it's just superb.

Remember that massive pettion at the 2K forums? Oh god, I was so disappointed when 2K finally said no to controller support.

It was such a sadness at the time. Now we've got it... out of nowhere.

So I'm playing again. This time with tweaks, and with a SweetFX mod. Game looks amazing. Way more fun than Infinite ever was.

For me, Bioshock Infinite was the letdown of the year. A total disaster. Ken Levine, trying too hard. Wanting to be a director of films. Games aren't films.
