Seriously, wtf?
Wtf is up with the enemy respawning in this game? I try to always barricade myself in an area when a little sister is harvesting adam so i can have maximum protection for both of us but still do a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage when the splicers come. Logically, a room that only has one entrance and exit would be a good place to put your back to since no one can come from there. WRONG. How the hell do splicers come from a cleared out empty room? That's some ♥♥♥♥ty game design. And these aren't rooms with holes in the ceiling you can drop through either, these are one door, no other way in or out rooms. Other than ♥♥♥♥ty detail, the game is awesome.

It's just an old game-mechanic, an early version of the CoD-way of infinite enemy respawn. But you are right, some spawns in closed rooms without any entry are somehow disturbing.

They're behind you!

I always thought it was the game's way of being more lifelike, stay in one place too long and somone's bound to notice...

Besides, I like when this happens so I can use the ENRAGE! Plasmid and watch em try and take on the big daddies....A few minutes of that and I'm laughing, no matter HOW LOUSY the workday was :)

They just crawl through ceilings, cracks on the wall and such.

That's true, but some rooms don't have holes in the ceiling or cracks in the wall. How do splicers magically appear in a one-way in or out room?

Harvesting really isn't that difficult. Just make sure you have enough ammo and first aid kits. And always save right beforehand, if something goes wrong you just wasted a ton of resources on a failed attempt, so it's better to just reload.

I hate the respawning EVERYWHERE in the game, not just when harvesting... I mean, medikit and eve-hypo and ammunitions are pretty valuable and I have to waste some of them just because two splicers have appeared in an already cleaned area? NO WAY, me no likes it!

After just a couple hours in the game, you should be dropping splicers without even taking damage most of the time... by halfway through the game, nothing is a threat anymore.

I've been playing hard, no clones, and still walk past every other instance of med kits and hypos because I'm full.

Yeah, if you use the camera and do your research it makes splicers pretty easy. First timei ever played the game i played on medium all the way through and didn't die once. There is a tonic that is something about headshots, i always use that one. A blast of electricity to stun a splicer and keep him in place, then use an upgraded rivot gun and shoot him in the face, instant death.

I will say in defense of Pepello that some splicers are a pain in the ass. I hate the spider splicers, i have them fully research and sometimes it seems it takes forever to kill those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a fully upgraded shotgun.

How to harvest: Spam the bees! Make bee corpes! The result is lots of ADAM with no actual fighting since they trigger the corpses in an endless loop. Plus they seek out targets by themselves. Of course you can shoot if you don't want to get bored to death.
