Of what?
all jokes aside, this game has some mechanics i would love to see in pubg. From the graphics to the density of foliage.
I already stated that I don't really care for PUBG anymore.
The game looks amazing and runs super smooth even on my old setup. The sound is also very well made, all the sounds are distinct and easily locatable, which is exactly what you want in a BR game. The gunplay is very different from other BRs and goes for more of a realistic aproach, which I personally like. Just because it doesn't feel as arcade-ish as in Fortnite or Realm Royale, doesn't mean it's bad. It may just not be for you. And the bluezone looks just fine.
Look great, runs good. Bullets connect with targer and have impact and are doing dmg.
Gameplay is not bad some skill is needed + some knowledge about bullet travel time and drop, switching from ironsight to scope also is a good idea. Also don't have problem with spotting people it's clear to read, no need to put your eyes 5cm away from your sceen, sometimes in PUBG on PC (Fortnite too) I am wondering this is a player or something else. (Also never had that problem on PUBG Mobile)
Also is hard to judge the netcode,so far didn't have any de-sync only some few lags when servers where overloaded with people, but when new servers where added everything changed.
As far netcode like I sad shoots are hitting if aimed well, not like in some other games.
What I want to be fixed/tweak is movement, is kinda to much floaty I don't like + that big a.ss crosshair on full screen when moving/running.
There is a delay when using meds, opening/closing doors, don't know if it's a bug or made just for purpose, to bring more "realism"
Game menu needs to be re-worked. Why two diffrent .exe's and a stupid launcher? When you connect to server another. exe starts with actual game...
Missing options in main menu / lobby is also a bad idea, you can play with options only in game, why do we need to waste time and ingame life for that?
Key binding not always work, in my case never always some debug trash pop-in on screen.
Few gfx settings.... that's to small amout we need more to tweak game to have more smooth game/better looking.
Even with AAx16 there is a bad noise on edges you can easly spot that on foliage, looks bad
It's still early access but one of many os STEAM so like with every early access game I am not putting my hope and hype high.
Early Access is one of cancers of gaming, together with that sandbox/survival/oper world mixture, now in 2018 we can add to that BR.
Don't get me wrong game has potencial, but words, and ideas has to be done in game not only on paper.
This is the first time anyone developing on this engine has created "human" or "infantry" for players to control. Until now, the engine was developed solely for player controlled vehicles. Given the fact that this is the first time anyone using this engine has "pioneered", if you will, humans/infantry on the engine, it's not bad. Sure, the movement is a bit clunky, and i agree that the hit markers are just weird, it's by no means bad. The game looks great, runs even better, the sounds currently in game are done awesome, overall it's not bad. If you're unsure, download it and try it. It's free until the 25th of June, worst case, you download it, don't like it, but get to keep it forever. Best case, you download it, like it, and get a game that'll soon cost money, for free.
In terms of the movement, i'd say it's probably like ArmA movement, if it were refined by about 50-75%. Still "clunky" but not nearly as bad as ArmA, where trying to quick strafe is nearly impossible because of a 2-3 second delay.
Edit: As stated by others the foliage is a big thing in this, as well as War Thunder (Both of these games share the same engine), regardless of range you can actually hide in the nicely dense foliage, unlike some games like Pubg where foliage only renders in within a, let's say 200m range. Aside from the foliage, overall the graphics in general look awesome, if not gorgeous.
