shotguns OP / SMGs nerved?

am I the only one that thinks that shotguns are now increadibly overpowered (everybody uses them now) and things like PPSh are uncontrollable and need 25 hits or something to kill somebody. Even the BAR has a lower recoil than the PPSh which makes absolutely no sense.

Shotguns have always been like this. But yes ppsh and ppd weapons recoil and dmg is ridiculous.

Could you please explain as to why you think the shotgun is overpowered? You do realise that the Browning auto is a 12 gauge shotgun meant for close combat.

Could you please explain as to why you think the shotgun is overpowered? You do realise that the Browning auto is a 12 gauge shotgun meant for close combat.

close thats funny maybe in real life but not this game give me a browning and its game over.

yea you can 1 hit kill people with the dumb Luftwaffe Drilling, or fire 5 shots really fast without missing with the browning. the recoil is redicilously low.
PPSh was once one of the most powerful guns in the game (as it should be) and now even a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stengun is better.

You are quoting the PPSh to be powerful (as it should be) but not the Browning auto 5 (as it should be) because it is overpowered which by the way is (as it should be)

net code is iffy thats all, i just got one shot killed by a ppsh after i point blank shot the guy with a lufftwaffe...swings in roundabouts

NO I said PPSh WAS powerful in the game and really powerful in real life. But now it is treated like it shoots BBs and has massive recoil. Browning is ultra powerfull and has almost no recoil. you can empty your entire mag instantly and always hit the enemy.

Browning is ultra powerful.. Yes thats because the browning is a 12 gauge shotgun and up close it is meant to be ultra powerful and the recoil thing? It never had a lot of recoil anyway but this is due to the long barrel and could be finely tuned anyway by taking apart the weapon.

Either deal with it or stop playing.

Shotguns must be fully protected by armor. If I shoot close to the center of the armored plate and all shots hit the armor, then the damage should not be applied. This is so that the shotguns are not the OP during the whole match.

yea this makes sense.
make it useless against armour so that at the start its great at killing naked men but near the end of the match you need a real soldier weapon.

Then the 9mm SMG's and pistols should be equally useless against armor. Either tighten the spread of the shotgun a bit so aim is needed up close and it still works at a fair distance, make it take much longer to reload, or take the shotgun out and replace it with a pump action trench gun. The problem is it puts too many shots on target too quickly and without much effort.

exactly. This is what I have been trying to say the whole time. (Although the PPSh with 7.6mm Tokarev should be much stronger when comes to armour piercing)

Shotgun should also have some recoil and should not be fired fast like it is a carabine.
Right now, encountering somebody with a shotgun is almost a deathsentence.

Shotguns should not be fired fast? That was the whole point of the Browning Auto 5. The emphasis goes on the word "AUTO" It was known to be used quite rapidly and as I said before the recoil was also known to be very low and this is because of the long barrel and the user could modify the spring inside.
I have a solution for you... if you cant beat them then join them. Grab yourself a Browning auto 5 and you will be equal to others 👌
