DirectX11 or DirectX12 for QUALITY, who?
I screenshoted 2 screens in same position, unable to see difference.

Performance is not a problem

An API won't magically give you better image quality, we are past the point where they put very obvious enhancements in DirectX versions. The difference is how the game pushes commands towards your hardware. In theory, DX12 is better since it needs a lot less overhead, but in practice, the DX parser in this version of the RE engine is rather raw and flawed, so it runs somewhat worse. DX11 has a more consistent frame rendering time leading to less microstutter, and it usually runs a little faster. (The RE3 remake has no such issues, it runs fine on DX12.)
Both DX 11 and DX 12 have similar image quality. Besides, DX 11 is recommended for more performance.

There's no difference in Image Quality. But DX11 runs a lot better.

no..both dx 11 and dx 12 have identical image quality. the only difference is performance. but like most games dx12 sucks anyways.

Using AMD. DX12 performing somehow better (not first game like that). FXAA with Anisotrofic filtering.
For my safety i will say: "Don't know, could be is just me" :D , but after DX12 swithing to DX11 (after crashes ar some bad stuff game reverts to dx11) looks like colors a bit washed out, less colors shine in small scales, "less alive".
Unless using something like TAA "dirt-on all screen" to mask pixels (like terrible rez scalling - for low end pc) - is absolutlelly no difference.

I used both AMD and Nvidia. And both on DX12 ran like absolute trash. Lower performance and lots of stuttering. While the game looks identical. Same Story for RE3 and DMC5.

No notice any difference too. Maybe in ultra maximum settings will can see more details to compare.

♥♥♥♥♥ no ..as i said before dx11 and dx12 are identical image quality. your not getting any eye candy benefits in dx12..just either better performance or worse.. and in most cases with dx12 its worse.

You did not understand. Resident Evil 2 Remake has a very poor graphics quality, which only shows difference in ultra presets (minimum to high I don't feel any great difference in general). I haven't played in a while and remember that DX11 and 12 are the same visual quality, but I never tested setting the presets in maximum to compare, which can make some slight difference in quality (like a few pixels in texture).
There really is no difference in terms of benefits.

if you put a screenshot of dx11 and dx12 side by side both on max settings there is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difference...its that simple.

I never stated the difference, I just assumed that there "could be".
Despite this, thank you for clarifying the doubt. Have a nice day.

you assumed wrong.. there is no "could be".. its ony down to performance with dx12. peace.
