SLS 60 vs Quickdraw Army
Hmmm i am starting my playthrough with Claire B run (after Leon A). It´s strange to see that the Quickdraw Army gun which is stated to have high caliber ammo 45 acp. is much weaker than the SLS 60. The QA gun is really inaccurate in quickfire mode and i understand why i get more than 40 bullets right after an hour of gameply with Claire -> the Zombie headshot plague returns and the gun just fires "plastic bullets", while the happy faceless zombies slowly adance to hug claire (>^_^)> <3 .
Surprisingly, i found that the 9mm SLS60 needed 1 bullet or 2 to blow off a whole zombie head....so, i wonder if capcom didn´t make a mistake confusing both guns/ calibers ?

I agree, imho both of guns suck hard, I hate her revolver and SLS is a crappy weapon aswell.
Anyway for Claire B I usually put SLS in my box forever (even in Claire A) and I keep that revolver, especially because 9mm bullets are replaced by 45 caliber ammo. Also I use gunpowder for acid rounds or SMG bullets.

Don't know what you're on about, SAA is amazing. Far better than SLS on Hardcore.

"Quickfire" mode is there to quickly destroy zombies' legs or to stumble one with quick bodyshots. If you're trying to unload all 6 bullets into the head that way - you're doing it wrong.

Leon M19 is far better imho, by the time I fully reloaded that revolver, I completed the game already.
the SLS is better in my opinion because of the auto-reloader ( not puting bullet one by one )

The SAA is better for dealing damage let's say it a SMG with 6 bullet but a worst reload time

That's the whole point tho. SAA has more DPS than M19, and if you could reload it as fast as M19... oh boi.

Yes the Quick loader makes the SLS much better but for the moment i lack 9mm bullets and i have to continue with the Quickdraw gun >_<.

The 45 stuns and kills much faster than the 9mm... were you playing on different difficulties when comparing the two weapons?

It's funny, because when I played, Quickdraw Army on the contrary had more chances and momens to blow up the head and deliver a critical shot. IMHO, but the SLS 60 is completely unnecessary until you get the details to improve it, because you will not get ammo for it, only through crafting.

The Quickdraw .45 is superior to the SLS, but a sad thing is you cant make ammo from gunpowder.

No just normal mode. But i, lost my bullets with the QA whereas the SLS "small caliber" did a good job, but 9mm ammo is scarce. This is why i guess capcom made a mistake, the powerful gun has "9mm" (which is actually low level ammo) and the weak gun has "45 ACP" (which hits harder).

I don´t know how to put screencaptures on the forum but i could show you the pictures where i shot with both guns and with my 5 bullet sarting SLS i blew off 3 zombie heads in a row.....

I just guess that making the Zombies as resistant as "terminators" is to create more tension but man...watch the movie "SHAUN OF THE DEAD :D " -> the television reporter says "the zombies can be disposed of by removing the head or destroying the brain".....CAPCOM should watch that movie and put this scene on infinite replay :steammocking:

You will continue to lack 9mm rounds. You got to craft them in Claire's B run while only finding .45 rounds. You will actually find a gun to replace your 9mm starting gun (JMB) which is pretty good but I would still save 9mm even with the better gun until you are absolutely out of .45 for the QA. The starting 9mm upgrades to a revolver later but can also still fire 9mm as well (so it says, I never actually tried using it to fire 9mm after tbh).

Also note if you feel like you are struggling with pistol related ammo you get a TON of SMG and grenade launcher ammo during your B run if you are reasonably thorough and mix most of your high quality powder into SMG ammo (tho large gunpowder + high quality for acid rounds are ok if you want more acid rounds without wasting too much high quality powder).

Your point? Just because zombies in SOTD are made that way doesn't mean it should be the case for all other films and games. Everyone has his own vision on how zombies should function. There's no "right" way.

I mean, zombies in L4D can die from 1 shot to the leg or arm, so obviously Capcom should do the same. /sarcasm
