Please, just go play Minecraft on peaceful mode and don't ever buy a Resident Evil game again.
But yeah I agree. I actually like Mr X. Once you know when he first spawns, and how he works, he is super super easy to avoid. You almost have to try to get caught by him. It's easy to kite him around. There are rooms he isn't allowed to enter. It's also super easy to distract him by drawing him to the other side of the RPD while you sneak back to the other side and let him wander aimlessly. Once you know the layout, anytime you hear his footsteps you will know exactly where he is in relation to you. All you have to do is...not back yourself into a dead end. You're way faster than him, just head for the exit that he's not coming from and leg it.
Nemesis may be another matter - he is MUCH faster than Mr X. But we don't even know how they're going to handle him yet.

Though not sure if it would work. As Mr.X in the remake pretty much does what Nemesis did in the original RE3. So this reason alone may be enough to not get RE3 remade.
