Anyone know why mod outfits require DLC outfits?
So I wanted to download the NieR: Automata 2B mod, since I love that game and seeing that character in this game would be fun as hell.

However, this mod requires the Noir DLC costume. Is there a specific reason why almost all of these mods require DLC? Were these costumes preorder bonus I missed? Never seen anything like that, just wondering.

It might of been what the mod creator used as the skins base, its what makes sense to me.

Because those are the only standalone files. The base game skins are stored in a 22 GB package. The mod manager has a much easier time inserting the skins to DLC packs.

Mostly because creators tend to keep original immersion of the game. But there also mods for replacing default skins as well
