Why is it somehow blurry at max settings 1440p?
I finished the demo and my monster pc is

Ryzen 7 1700
16 GB DDR4 3200MHZCL15 GS KILL RIP JAWS
GTX 970 G1 GAMING 4GB
DELLP2416D 24'' 2560X1440 60 HZ IPS
WD BLACK 4 TB(DEMO INSTALLED)
1 TB HDD
CORSAIR 750 WATT
ASUS PRIME X370 PRO

played max settings 1440p and compared to most other games it is blurry. Why?

You're maxed with a 970?

How is that even possible?

OT :

It'll likely be a combination of settings such as TAA ( post process anti-aliasing which can make it blurry ), Also Chromatic Abberation and Film Grain.

Disable those and see how it compares.

The highest AA option is TAA which makes the game blurry.

Wouldn't call that a monster PC haha
No way you're running the game maxed out at 1440p with that card. I was running an R9 390 until a few days ago and could not push a stable 60fps in that resolution. And considering how vram hungry this game is at max settings and your card only has 4gb....

Max settings that include depth of field and motion BLUR? I think you can deduce your own answer.

change TAA to SMAA

I still runs evrything 1440p max settings 30+ fps in all games and few games still run even 60 fps but iam not crazy to pay 800+ for rttx 2080 or rtx 2080 ti just soi can run 60 fps in all games and i refuse to play any game on anything lower than max settings. Anyway so it is film grain and chromatic aberation who make it blurry? why? ok when game releases what settings should we reduce for best picture? Maybe they are broken because it is a demo? Compared to other recent games max settings 1440p like darksiders 3 hitman 2 assasin creed odyssey shadow of tomb raider sunset overdrive(just to mention some recent games that i played) it looks worse...

I mean, that's a you problem, you'll soon hit the limit with that card if you for some reason insist you need to play at max.
That being said, it's the TAA option that make sthe game blurry. Try using SMAA at 1440p. Just because TAA is the last option, doesn't mean it's the best, it has it's issue like artifacts on moving objects.

Dude, even on a 1080gtx, I reduce some settings from their highest.

Shadows is a great one to reduce.

Are you running image quality at 200%?

Change TAA to SMAA
Change chromatic aberration to off
Disable film grain.

Motion blur is just that, it adds a gentle blurring to the image during motion, if you stand still you can still see blurring ( this is due to TAA )
I had a similar experience. Changing TAA to SMAA worked wonders.
Chromatic aberation to "off" also made a slight difference for me, but nothing huge.

I kept film grain on - I liked the old horror film look, and it helped visually tie the game closer to REmake 1.

Now that ray tracing released we will all be forced to change graphics card anyway sooner or later. it is just a matter of time.
