Reset demo timer - here is how.

Trainer is now available. Use google to find it (very easy to find). I've tested it and it simply works :)

Don't want to use trainer and afraid of viruses ? (though it's confirmed this trainer is virus free)

UPDATE for my initial post: It seems this timer reset works only for the very first room. Once you progress further - it'll save your time and this work around won't reset timer.

When you are running out of time - minimize demo (alt+tab) and terminate process through task manager. Start game - you have 30 minutes again.

Tested couple of times - it works...for now.

I will. I just got a file. Scanned with a couple programs and its clean. Malwarebytes flagged it as a generic game hack but that just means its not a normal game file.

There's like, another steam entry and forum for the 'One shot demo' that is seperate from Resident Evil 2's forum here.
Kind of silly since it's now split the community somewhat

I think the timer is linked to achivements so resetting the achivements would reset the timer

I had 15 minutes left. Activated trainer - got 30 minutes again. Works perfectly fine :)

Meh I made it as far as the library before my timer stopped... I can't resist the urge to explore and look for ammo and stuff. Since I already preordered it I'll simply wait patiently for the final release. But man is this game scary. Zombies pounding on windows, doors, coming down and up stairs, following you through doors.

I felt legitimately frightened the whole time. So far I'm really impressed.

I activated the trainer, it even found the exe, but pressing 1 did nothing. On the other hand, I downloaded the demo just to make sure my GTX980 could do the work. I didn't experience any problems so I will probably just wait another two weeks.

You need to press one on Numerical Keyboard. This is the only way to make it work. That's why in trainer it says Num1. Works fine for me. Are you using numerical keyboard? Make sure Num Lock is ON.
