Time stamp for S+ rank, Leon A?
I know it's a big leap from rank C to S+ (I just finished my 1st run last night). I just want to know the recommended time stamp and how long before I should be fighting G1, G2 and G3.

Like for example, by 40 mins (no cutscene) I should be fighting G1.

Thank you.

I beat every scenario in less than 2 hours, without rushing and grabbing all ammo and inventory space. I usually get all medals in 20 minutes, out the RPD in 50 minutes, to the lab in 1h15, and finish in 1h50. Give yourself some extra time on each section according to what your actual limit is.

Edit: if you want to beat it on hardcore, I recommend saving before G1, then after the alligator/orphanage, then just before G3. Should be looking at around 15 minutes, 55 minutes, and 1h30 times on save spots for S+ on a B run, slightly more on A.

My times were:
G1 - 27 minutes
G2 - 47 minutes
G3 - 1 hour 25 minutes
(A run, like you)

Mind you, I tried at least 10 times each in the first two sections (after G1 and before G2). If it was a good run, I saved it. If it wasn't, I reloaded the game. The part where everything can go wrong is when you grab the club key from Mr.X. The rest of the sewer and the NEST are actually pretty easy - you barely even fight enemies in there.

I actually tried before posting this, I am at 2hrs when I saw Mr. X. Maybe a couple of practice. Noted on these time stamp. Will try to accomplish this. Thanks.
G1: 40 minutes on 1st, 35 minutes on 2nd
G2: 1:20 on 1st, 1:10 on 2nd
G3: 2:00 on 1st, 1:50 on 2nd

These are close to cut-off points. You can reach all of them in half of that time if you are really good. However, if you are within those milestones, you are good.

This seems attainable. I dont think i can do that in 2 hrs

Looking back, I can only do timestamp for G1. I faced G2 at 1 hour. Then G3 at 2hr. I beat the game on less than 2 and half hours.

Most speedrunners 1st save before G2, G3 and Super Tyrant.

But i like your idea. Seems more realistic for me.

No I believe most speedrunners will use one save before G1, again before G3 and again before the final fight.
1: Sewers
2: G3
3: final boss.

If you need 40 minutes to fight Birkin G1, you should start over until you can run the RPD in under 25 minutes. The recommended save-spots actually depend on your confidence, your time and your skill.

These two guides help out a lot. They are no speedruns, and will get you to S+ in a relaxed and fairly safe way.

F off with these darkness videos. They're not even good to follow for time sake. Too slow and he talks way too much.

He may talk a little too much, but a lot of his advice is actually helpful. His guides are good enough if you are NOT attempting a speedrun. I don't care about speedrunning, personally, so I'm not out to find the best timestamps - just safe ones.

I honestly hate it too, when people talk. I used another speedrunners guide, and i beaten the game in 1 hour and 10 mins.

What does it matter? I left the guides for the OP in order to decide for themselves. This thread is not about speedrunning, just about getting S+. Not your call to make.
