We're exactly opposite, then. Beat Annin Tofu on my first try. Spent a couple hours trying to beat Flan, because I had a huge problem dealing with the bridge full of dogs. I hate having to face dogs without a shotgun.

Really? Flan has a minigun. It is a pretty damn effective way to clear the bridge of everything.

I believe that, by its description, Annin Tofu was supposed to be played when you already have the enemy layouts completely memorized. The point I died the most was to the Ivies right before the end, because Annin only has 1 defensive item. So you either keep that knife until the very end, or try to get grabbed by a zombie instead of an Ivy.

Yeah, I had no idea how to use Flan's loadout, and other than the 15 hours I put into RE2, I hadn't really played an action shooter since RE4 back in 2005-6. It didn't help that I insisted in playing with a controller and had not learned to aim properly yet.

It's not that bad. The revolver has rapid fire, you have a lot of ammo. Just aim for the legs. Against crowds you just have to force your way through, you have almost 5 full life bars to do it. Also save your knife for the Ivy at the end.
