Claire A S+ Run Hardcore Mode G4 Advice

I'm sitting at 1hr 30 min before the G3 fight. After the fight I'm anywhere from 1hr 40 - 45min still enough time to finish the game within 2 hrs.

I run out of ammo on the G4 fight. I have 4 rounds of spark shot. 1 grenade. 1 flash bang. 60+ 9mm ammo. And minigun.

I can preserve acid rounds. I use 8 acid rounds on G3, 3 grenades, 2 flash bang, infinite knife, and around 140 rounds of 9mm.

I can also run back and grab 2 flame rounds before the fight adding 5 or more minutes to my run time that might help with the G3 and preserve acid rounds for the G4.

I don't play Claire much so what other strategies do you recommend to beat G4 on hardcore mode?

60+ 9mm ammo and the minigun alone should be enough to put down G4, provided that you don't miss a whole lot with the minigun and only aim for the eyes, and if you don't have any highpower rounds left with the SLS you might as well bring out the JMB and get that damage bonus as well as the larger magazine size

Shoot the chest eyes only. That's it. use the hand grenade to knock out one set of eyes instantly. You can do it in 300 minigun rounds on maximum hardcore difficulty level all the time if you can aim straight.

I aim for the eyes and it seems like I hit them all. How do I know for sure if I got them all?

You can see them pop. Slightly yellower blood and more of it. They regrow, you need to destroy all of them six times to enter the short second phase. This is why hand grenades are great as one destroys an entire set immediately.

Flash bang are useless against it, Minigun is very sufficient against him, a grenade is also good since it destroys all the eyes at the same time.

I saved all 3 grenades I had this time around. Got to G4 with 67 ammo left in my inventory. Barely used any 9mm ammo. After grenades and minigun, he went down in 3 shots.
