Valve in secret room t-lock

So I got the valve handle but I cannot use it on the t-lock in the secret room.

Does anyone have an idea on how to use it? It works on all the other t-locks.

Its a completely different tool that you need for it. You have the get the T crank for it.

You will see similar t-locks later in the game and get a tool to open them. It will be difficult to miss. :)

oh yeah my bad, sorry! I meant this T-shaped tool and not the valve, mixed it up!

You get it in the sewers to open a couple of doors there but there is another of these locks in the secret room at the main hall of the police station. for some reason I can't use it there though

well no the entrace is open, so it's for opening the entrance under the statue if it's shut?
