Why not send Nemesis to NEST?
I was always wondering, why Umbrella didn't sent their most advanced Tyrant to retrieve G-Virus from NEST? After all, it was the most precious thing there. T-00 Tyrants could deal with Jill and other S.T.A.R.S members just fine (if we go with their lore durability).

Of course, NEST has DEVIL, anti-bodies for G-Virus. DEVIL probably could do some serious damage to parasite that controlled Nemesis (G-Virus was made from that parasite as well it seems), however considering Nemesis combat abilities it wouldn't be that possible.

Nemesis' mission was to eliminate STARS. y'know, that team of cops that knew everything about Umbrella, unlike our homeboi Lee-Han and Kruairu.

Because Leon doesn't dress like Jill. Add that costume option, and Nemesis will appear. he's a very conservative monster.

It could be left for T-00 Tyrants. G-Virus should have been Umbrella priority. After all, if HUNK was really dead they wouldn't get any samples.

You seem to forget Raccoon City was like a lab rat testing ground. Umbrella over-estimated the power of the BOWs.

Notice how there are many Tyrants but only one Nemesis. Tyrants seem to kill any living thing, while Nemesis can go after specific people. Maybe these BOWs just don't comprehend how to extract specific non-living objects.

Yeah, well, the death cannot die. Given both T-00 and Nemesis were unsuccessful in the grand scheme of things, it likely wouldn't have mattered. Besides, they need to keep Nemesis prepped and ready for the (hopefully) inevitable RE3-Remake.

If they had, they wouldn't have their corp/HUNK doing the grunt-work. BoW's (at least the primitive ones during this time-peroid) were wholly built for destruction of some kind. Having one capable of being very specific about who it assassinates doesn't mean it would be smart enough to go grocery shopping for a specific virus sample.

Because it is a game after all, Nemesis didn't exist on RE2 and came on RE3, so they needed too fit him on story making their mission in eliminating STARS.

He may not have existed (at the time), but from my understanding RE3 was essentially going to be extra content for RE2 until they scrapped it and then converted it into its own game. Canonically they happen at the same time, so even though it would be true to the source that Nemesis was not involved in RE2, he WAS there while Leon/Claire were in RPD.

But again, using a BOW capable of specific assassination does not mean it'd be effective at collecting samples. If it was, they would never have had to use their own militia (HUNK and co) to do this for them, not when you can drop a near 8ft tall killing machine to just go in, grab your stuff and leave... Besides, they also wanted Birkin alive. I find it hard to imagine Nemesis invading NEST, throwing Birkin over his shoulder and carrying the pleb back to Umbrella, or taking him out for a cup of coffee and kindly asking where the hell he keeps his sample collection.

Alpha Team invaded NEST in 23th... Nemesis was sent somewhere in 27th after Outbreak was not contained by RPD and UBCS.

Because it's a killing machine, not a retrieving machine.

Nemesis didn't exist during resi 2's development
Shiroi Ren Feb 9, 2019 @ 8:45pm
We are talking about in-game decisions not about development.

Nemesis could have appeard to take us off guard, just one time. They tried that in A scenario, you know with who.

The sad truth is because Nemesis was a last minute addition to evolve the T-103 concept from RE2 and most of the events of RE3 barely fit into the canon as it is. (Pretty much the only thing being canon in the entire game is that Jill and Barry escaped the city in a helicopter. Everything else falls into the "stuff happened, we have no idea exactly what" category, like large chunks of RE1 and RE2.)
