Request: Option to disable special weapons
Would be nice to have the option to enable/disable special infinite ammo weapons when you start a fresh game.
I mean sure, the item box has infinite space but i like my minimalistic inventory, and the "deluxe weapon added" message on a new save gets annoying after a while.

Deluxe weapons aren't really special, they're more or less the same and using them it doesn't prevent you to get S+ rank.
Infinite weapons are different from deluxe weapons though.
Anyway it doesn't bother me, I just dont pick them from box.

I asked for this a while back and about 7 capcom bootlickers told me it was stupid and burnt the thread down. I agree that it would be a nice option to have, and very simple to implement
Seems like a reasonable enough option to request.

You could just. You know. Not pick them up from the storage and use em? I do not see a problem and it seems more like its extra work for the developers for no real reason.

Yea, like 10 minutes of extra work for a simple toggle that should've been there from the start.

You can disable the Deluxe weapons from Steam by unticking them in the list displaying all DLC you have. Not possible with the infinite ammo unlockables though.
Yes, good call. Scrub weapons just get in the way.

I know. The infinite knife counts as deluxe weapon tho.

Tech speaking it is not. Its something you unlock. That said I do feel it should disable S+ ranking like the others. Not sure why they allowed that.

I got the deluxe weapons with my preorder and I just disabled them in steam because I have no interest in using them... lol. Didn't like that they cluttered my box.

But yeah... a simple button to filter them out would be cool.

Infinite combat knife says "deluxe weapon added" when you open the box on a new save. I guess capcom initially wanted to sell it as a pre-order or deluxe edition bonus and then decided to make it unlockable.

It has more to do with speedruns and sanity than anything else.
