I finished mine, somehow managed to get an S+ rating, and got a couple infinite surprises in the crate.
Isn't handgun damage mostly irrelevant anyway? For bosses it's heavy weapons, grenades and knives that do the bulk of the work. While for regular zombies it's more about trick (i.e. thigh) shots and clever movement to move past em.
Yeah it is but hasn't it been that way for most of the RE series? RE1 you abandon the pistol once you get the shotgun, RE2 more of the same and so on. Handgun ammo is great for killing dogs, G1 and knee capping dangerously placed zombies if you are tight on shotgun shells.
