Birkin Injected G-Virus

Who remember 1998 RE2 Original there a cutsense showing Birikin injected himself with G Virus and kill the soliders. I believe they did good job on Remake how Birkin walk away after injected himself with G

Yeah they did that part very strangely in the Remake, Leon gets the injection scene, while Claire gets him standing up and walking away afterwards, while the other events are all on VHS tapes

The cutscenes were surprisingly badly made. One soldier checks his pulse and apparently can't find one.
There isn't a sample shown on him (why would he have one lose in a pocket?!).

But the other cutscene shows him doing surprisingly well after being shot so many times, and injecting himself.

Considering they knew how the story plays out, you'd think they would have made better cutscenes.

The original was better, they may as well have just re-made that one.

It's literally the same in the original. They shot him several times and he didn't die. But original is still better somehow.

At this point I really can't understand what's wrong with some people.

In the new version they check his body, at least in the original they don't bother to check and leave immediately, so it's at least a bit more credible that he isn't dead, or has a few seconds of life left with which to inject himself.

Having them not find a pulse and state he is dead just feels like a needless mistake.

Uh no?, the main problem people have is that in this one his pulse gets checked and is confirmed dead then he magically revives himself and injects the virus.

On the original one he is shoot but he is clearly left alive gravely wounded you can see him still moving as they retrieve the case with samples next to him.

I do have to admit, they shouldve never checked his pulse. Maybe that soldier was a noob.

Apparently even professionals can miss people's pulses when checking so it's not implausible that the umbrella guy missed it

im not a proffesional but i would imagine that taking off your tacticool glove before you take someones pulse is the logical thing to do...

In the original he was badly wounded but left since they were only there for the samples.
He was left mortally wounded with a sample concealed in his hand.

In the remake he dies, they even check his pulse but somehow magically sits up after so he can take out his sample and inject it. They checked for pulse and left him, so I assume they didn't find one since their orders where him alive and the samples in the remake.

to force him to do more research, and because using the original creator is easier than reverse engineering using lesser scientists.
