When does Mr X 1st appear?
I know that on A ( or 1st ) playthroughs he shows up the moment the helicopter fire is extinguished.

What is the point on the 2nd run playthroughs?

I think I've seen one play and it was in the corridor in which the STARS office is? Is that always the case?

Yeah, in B scenario he shows up when you enter or go past the stars office from what I know.

STARS office
Both, B is near the stars Office. A is near when you put the fire out

The only point are puzzles rearrangements, new weapons, and new ending (the true one).

Yeah, cheap, but this is what it is. I find it fine, it is always a pleasure to visit Raccoon again and mutilate zombies.

BTW if you find Mr X annoying you can solve most puzzles before triggering him.

Just avoid running past STARS office door and the helicopter corridor.

He first appears in the corridor to the S.T.A.R.S. office. I'm not sure if you need to fix the detonator for him to appear or if it's just moving past the office.

One thing I know for sure is that you can continue to the 3rd floor, grab the spade key and return to the main hall via library and it won't trigger him.

That way you can do the scepter puzzle before you grab the bejeweled box for your lightning hawk/smg

He shows up if you move past the STARS office enough in B. He will show up if you take the battery from the STARS office even if you don't go down the hallway I believe.

i didn't pick up the battery from STARS office, he still spawn and come at me from that hallway

He can also spawn if you look at the laptop in scenario B.

The one in the main hall way?

That video gave me the creeps xD

Yeah, if you look at that in scenario B he will appear early.
Otherwise it's when you exit the Stars office.
Early how? I looked at the laptop and he still appeared as I moved past the STARS office in Claire B

The laptop does not change anything, it just gives you an early indication that he is (well, they are, two are inside the RCPD) already active in the building, so get ready to face him soon.

You can look at the comp all you want - doesn't effect Mr.X.

STARS office + doused Helicopter. One can be left until you're pretty much ready to grab the last emblem for the sewers (STARS), the other will involve having to dodge him to get to the Clock Tower, and once again to get back with the puzzle-piece and leave for the Sewers/Orphanage.

In both cases you will typically only have to deal with Mr.X for the guts of 2-5minutes tops, except those who trigger STARS office early - they'll be stuck with Mr.X for a variable length of time depending on how soon they trigger it and how much they need to backtrack/deal with before they can blow up the C4, grab emblem and get out -- this is where most new players will unknowingly make things harder for themselves.

Assuming you know what's going to happen, you don't have to deal with Mr.X much at all - and assuming you know how he works then he's of little to no threat (unless for some silly reason you back yourself into a corner and/or lure him into a room with other enemies that can surround you).

Of course, getting to know all this requires you to learn first. Any one calling him tedious clearly doesn't get how little screen time he actually has when you do things in a certain way (unless you play as Leon - he makes additional cameos in that case).
