Does Mr. X Teleport?
I've noticed a couple of times he'd be on the bottom floor. Then after his footsteps faded and came back, within 15 seconds he'd be on the same floor in same area which isn't possible due to how fast he is and where I'm located. Just curious on this.

Only during scripted events, otherwise he's walking around in real time. There's a fun little bug speenrunners have found where you can accidentally get two Mr. Xs if you trigger his scripted parts in rapid succession.

I'm positive that he teleports with Claire after you get the Mechanic Jack
With Leon I think he's aware that you are in that room but doesn't necessarily teleport, could be wrong though

I swear he does. I cleared out the police station entirely before he showed up and just to test it I'd lose him in a different area and then run off to a totally different section and I swear if you fire a gun he's on you in less than a minute. I don't think he teleports right to you but he at least teleports close by. I had a similar issue when I was going for jack arm in the club key room. I'd lose him on the second floor on the opposite side, run across to the other side, walk to the room, and fire a shot. He was there when I walked outside and I know he couldn't have walked there that fast because I've timed him to see just how quick he can move.

That was one of those times.

The one time I remember it happening was in front of the S.T.A.R. Room. I heard him fade below me where the Locker Room is, then appeared roughly down the hall where the S.T.A.R. Room is. Blew my mind.

Either he teleports or he's tethered to the player so that he's never more than a couple rooms away.

OMG, i hated this in RE7. To me it's the game cheating on the player to try to kill them. So cheap (my opinion)

He does. Or, more precisely, the game unloads him and spawn another one near you. There are tons of spawn points all over the police building, almost all rooms have one.

He is scripted to spawn near you at certain actions and at certain rooms if you enter through specified directions.

Also, there seems to be two of them active at the same time, one in each wing. Although bumping into both at the same time is almost impossible (someone apparently managed to do it on stream).

If and when they release RE3, you're going to HATE Nemesis. That ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ runs after you.

He teleports in the 4th survivor mode, heading to the libary through change rooms and suddenly he walks around the corner despite being behind me 10 second ago. It would have been impossible for him to walk ahead of me as every path but 1 liniar path in this mode is blocked off. Which is bull, ruining speedruns or completly ruining peoples first clears as every area is flooded with enemies.

He appears in front of you at key locations if you run too far away from him. It's incredibly noticeable in the 4th survivor mode when you hit the armoury hallway with the licker.

Most people just run during this part but you're not meant to do that, you're supposed to walk so you avoid the Lickers assault, if you do this properly Mr. X will eventually catch up with you and he'll be behind you, if you rush this part too quickly he'll appear to be coming out of the shower room and you'll have to deal with him on the 2nd floor landing with 3 zombies.

It's worth it to go slow at some parts during the 4th survivor because that was the way the developers intended it, if you rush too fast you're actually punished for it by having him "teleport" or "warp" to key areas.

It's the same thing in the campaign when you pick up the jack handle, Mr. X is no where to be found but the second you pick up the jack handle his footsteps can be heard and he'll come at you from the main hall way.

He always spawns when you enter the library as well, no matter how far away you are.. This is also true when you enter the clock tower, he spawns in the library and comes at you from the way you entered the 3rd floor balcony so it forces you to unlock the shortcut door on the opposite side of the clock tower and head through that storage room... which is quicker any way but it's still scripted.

Also if you ever go out on the roof and try to head through the helicopter hallway he'll spawn in front of you there as well... It's scripted for him to spawn in key locations if you back track through them unnecessarily.

He also automatically spawn in the STARS office hallway on game B. You can avoid him at the start by not checking the laptop but this is the moment where he force spawns in game B and there's no avoiding it as you need to go to the STARS office to get the battery for the detonator.

He dont' just run after you, if he is even a few steps out he pulls his rocket launcher on you, this guy means business when he wants STARS.
The music change is the key to run like hell!!! (or... when you hear someone say STARS)

I dislike ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like this, he is a way too scripted. And having one Terminatior in each wing? That is just cheating for the game part. I love the game but this RNG Terminator that is scripted to spawn on your ass makes speed running too stressful for me, so I don't even bother trying to get S rank.

It's been forever since I played RE3 but I think how Nemesis was implemented it wasn't as cheap.

He teleports under a few scripted situations, when he smashes through the wall from the press room on the bottom floor for example and always for scripted encounters that you can't avoid but other than that he walks around where you left him gradually making his way towards you.

and he can see through walls ;)

I didn't mind Nemesis because of the space between encounters, and you could knock him out each time for a gun part. What I didn't like in RE7 was with the woman, (i can't spell her name) that you can physically see spawn in front of you if you look to the right of a dead end, also jack breaking down the room while he's in the kitchen/living room and not the actual room the wall is connected to
