Stuck in parking garage as claire
i'm stuck in parking garage as claire and i dont have the heart key thanks to mr x who stressed me out so i forgot about it and ran for my life :P i'm on my second playthrough, finished it the first time as leon.

i cant get out of the parking garage because i dont have the heart key -.- anyone know what to do ? do i have to start the game all over because of this ?!

You need to head back to the chiefs office and find the heart key in the backrooms there.

You can find Heart Key in "Private Collection Room", which is AFTER the basement.

To progress in the parking garage you need Diamond Key, which you can find in a morgue.

thx for the replies. i found it. it was in the morgue and was well hidden near a zombie body :P

That is the Diamond Key, not the Heart Key. You will need the Heart Key to get to the Clock Tower. The Diamond Key just gives you access to some more items and is not necessary to progress story-wise.

The devs do not make the game in such a way that it ends if you miss out an essential item to progress the game, that would be bad game design. As others mentioned, you have to backtrack to get it.

The only way to permanently to ruin the game is if you accidentally discard the key before you used it. to open all the needed areas.

You can't discard key item if it doesn't have red check thingy next to it, the option is just unavailable. So it's pretty much impossible to "permanently ruin the game".

Ah I see, thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that it is possible to delete any item.

I can't get the heart key, I got the heart BOOK! I have to backtrack to that statue to hold the book but I can't get back there.
