Missing some physics in RE engine
RE-Engine looks beatiful. Really a lot of potential. However, there a no physic effects? You can't shoot one can, picture, barrel whatever. All is very static. This is where I think the RE-Engine needs to improve. I don't expect destructible environment (doesn't match with need of looking for keys for rooms which are looked!) but somtimes I wish to be more part of the environment, which is why I think RE engine should allow more physic effects, which are influenced by the protagonist.

That would be pointless tho.

Would only be interesting if in the game noises were more important. (In the sense of enemies attracted by items such as tackers or cans and cups on the ground, etc.)

Imagine missing a headshot, breaking a window, then hoards of zombies jumping through the window you just broke.

Why would you wish for things to waste ammo on? :|

It makes the game feel more realistic, if the protagonist can to damage to the environment. It feels less static and more dynamic. Of you run over a lamp, which falls down, changes the lighning in the room and Leon needs to get his flashlight out. ;)

PS: Don't care about Ammo.

So... To make game more realistic we need Leon to grab random chair and impale zeds with it...

Resident Evil:Biohzard uses Nvidia technology which is PHYSX.. not Physics.

Physics is AMD and it's their answer to Nvidias PHYSX

PHYSX requires the CUDA cores in an nvida GPU where as PHYSICS uses the CPU from your computers processor.

I wasn't trying to be rude but more so trying tkindly explain to you that when you use the word Physics you might mean PHYSX but to someone reading it who understands like myself will read it as meaning CPU and correct you.

Again not trying to be rude or mean or troll I was just informing you in case you didn't know. as it might cause confusion for some people..

Cheers

I get what you are on,but understand 2 things
1:This is suppost to be a optimised game, and belive me destruction whuld slow it down a lot.
2:Its scripted, they whuld have to do a lot of stuff for that, look at the game as a movie more than a game, you are not suppost to tuch, just look, tho im sure in a few years they will add sutcha thing to a newer game

No destructible environments means I dont waste bullets shooting random bottles laying around. Because thats exactly what I would do. So yaaaay bullets

I see it the same. I just thought that Cine-like Engine has nice potential and to be able to interact a little more with the environment would make it feel even more real. Nevertheless, this is a very nice engine and for the stunning image quality, the framerates are quite good.

So I hope they do RE Code Veronica Remake and RE3 Remake exactly like they did RE2.
