Character with white dots on hair
im not sure if this is a graphic setting

My character has has white dots all over his hair, its like a reflection but it looks corrupted

anyone know a fix?

I had it since day one release

If something looks corrupted give verifying the file integrity an attempt.

Do you have MSAA on? The hair on characters has a kind of weird artefact which was also present in RE7. Best fix is to enable FXAA+TAA at the cost of making things slightly blurry.

It is just the engine. The game looks like that on many settings and on most video cards.

Does everything look like it`s covered in sparkles or glitter? Do you see white pixels in dark areas, in hair, or zombie beards? If so the problem is most likely the aliasing/anti-aliasing. I haven`t played the game in awhile so I don`t remember what my anti-aliasing settings are on. One of them should fix it. Just mess around with it until you find the right one.

Edit: It might also be the screen space reflections. I always turn that off since it often makes things look like they are covered in ghosts.

im not sure, it looks pretty bad, like corrupted graphics

mostly on leons hair, its like sparkly glitter, tiny white dots, im gonna have a look at the anti aliasing as ppl are mentioning
