Playstation Button prompts MOD here!

Hi guys.
I wanted to know if there is any information out on the Internet that indicates that the RE2 remake will have native DS4 implementation (with PS button prompts)? RE7 didnt have it unfortunatly. Tell me if you find any info about native DS4 support for RE2.

No, all good.
Just look at the images in the link to see the differences in both.

PS3 one uses Playstation 3 Start, Select buttons, PS analog sticks and d-pad.
PS4 one uses Playstation 4 Share, Options buttons. PS analog sticks and d-pad.

Thank you very much. I agree, games should just have button prompts for different controllers. Especially DualShock 4.

eh, I use the DS4 on my PC but I think in Xbox layout terms. I could never get use to the stupid shapes Sony uses.

Honestly mate buy a switch pro controller w/hd rumble. I love my DS4 but the switch pro controller is just lovely to play RE2RE with and a plethora of other games. Although I think it still detects it as an xbox controller.

I know someone's posted a link to a mod and the thread has been pinned, but would it really have been so hard for Capcom to include PS4 icons themselves? Sega does this with the Yakuza games. Even if coding some way to detect when a DualShock 4 is being used would have been too difficult, you could just include a toggle within the games options menu.

DualShock 4 is like the second most popular controller on Steam these days so it just seems like it'd be handy to include this sort of stuff by default from now on.

It is soo big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I have to take another hour to setup a modmanager and setup mods just to have PS4 buttons. Its sooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to put some additional ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ icons into the game and an option to switch between them. It cost at least 10000000 man/hour of ultra-senior developers. God bless me.

Thanks I was just going to say it would be nice to see Capcom just do this standard. I've seen indie devs that do it. Even change layout to be played like that. But AAA devs just don't bother I would like to see it the standard. It makes the overall presentation look better for the player. I understand Xbox is the most popular controller. But PS4 and Nintendo are still popular too. Steam controller and many 3rd party just went for the Xbox look. And I mean multiplatform games have no excuse considering they already have the assets.
