Does the infinite ammo disable achievements?

I've been using the infinite ammo pistol on hardcore.

S+ is how you get the infinite rocket launch and minigun though.

Ive done my S+ playthroughs but i missed a couple of achievements such as "Treasure Hunter"

Using infinite ammo weapons just to get through the game faster while trying to unlock it but cant even tho i did the necessary tasks for the achievement.

So im wondering if using infinite weps disables ALL achievements too or if it only affects the Ranking at the end of the campaign.

Just the ranking, and just the S+. You can still get S rank with infinite weapons.

S+ HC can actually get you Infinite Rocket or Chaingun + SMG + Pistol in one run. Glad I decided to do it first since it just saved me three different runs and absolutely no one or online article actually mentions this very relevant fact.

You can get all achievements with infinite weapons. I got my Frugalist (no heals used) achievement using the infinite rocket launcher on assisted. Super easy cheese.

If you use any unlocked weapon your rate will be down. even you are playing very good, you can only get S and not S+

no it does not disable achievements, i got plenty of them after using those weapons

Yeah, they don't disable achievements. But as someone else already pointed out you can't get S+ rank with infinite ammo weapons (which means no unlocking the infinite ATM-4 or chaingun).

You also can't get the achievement for not using the item box (since you have to open the item box to get the infinite ammo weapons).

Heck, the easiest way of getting frugalist is to just take the infinite MP5 (or if you managed to unlock, the infinite rocket launcher and MP5) and just kill everything before they can even react to you.

Inf knife can be used for S+. No other inf weapon though, don't even take it out of the box.

Get an S-rank (standard) or an S+rank (hardcore) to unlock the infinite guns. The infinite knife is kill all the little Mr Raccoon statues in Leon A, Claire A, and Claire B scenarios.
