Leon's B run: Matilda or M19?
I think I already have all the upgrades for the Matilda, but I'm thinking. Is the M19 better than the normal Matilda, and is it worse than the fully upgraded Matilda?

Gunpowder, plus you didn't answer my question...

sorry tought the answer was kinda obvious ( in my mind atleast) i find using powder on anything other than making granades a waste. i love the matilda and prefer it over the other gun. but using powder for 9mm dosent sit right with me ;)

Use both actually. Mainly rely on the m19 as all handgun ammo in Leon B you find is for the m19. However any you craft will be for the Matilda.

In the police section where ammo is rather abundent rely on the m19 for de legging your enemeies ect. By the end of the game though you should have saved up your gunpowder to make tons of pistol rounds. The Fully upgraded matilda will eat through it fast but deal tons of dmg against the bosses with it.

I say use the m19 early game, eventually you'll run out of ammo for it. I used about 4-6 (that means 2-3 combination) of gun powder for the matilda. I say if you're not playing hardcore mode, you'll end up with WAY MORE AMMO than you could think, that is if you explore everything and being able to dodge or decap zombie's legs.

Leon doesn't get grenade launcher. You should never waste powder on making shotgun shells imo. Completely pointless. All his powder should go to magnum rounds, which leaves plenty of of pistol rounds for the matilda.

I personally use high grade only to make magnum rounds. I use regular gunpowder to make bullets in second run as a back up

I used the M19 the entire playthrough. I find it to be superior to Matilda and I never ran out of ammo for it.

Gunpowder always goes to shotgun shells.

Use the 1911. Takes less shots to drop zombies and you get plenty about for when you need to use a pistol. Use gunpowder for shells and magnum ammo. Shotgun is actually most economical gun to use on zombies once you get it, it has plenty ammo around and making some also gives you a generous supply. While magnum is good enough for bosses, once you get the flamethrower that alone can handle 2-3 boss fights with some flashbangs and hand grenades, leaving you free to do what you wish with shotgun and magnum.

You can easily get the Magnum/SMG including one upgrade and have S+ on hardcore, below 2h (on A scenario) mark as well.
