Stick witht he samurai edge until you hit end game, and then use all that extra pistol ammo you saved to just unload with the matilda.
Did you get the stock in the parking garage?
I believe i saw someone testing the samurai edge from each version in this forum a few days ago, explaining difference to each handgun, their weakness and strength, including SLS60.
The burst with Matilda is fantastic in the way that you don't have to commit to a full 3 round burst. You can still single shot very easily.
I haven't used most of the time burst upgrade and capacity is kinda useless if you have infinite ammo especially if you use handgun for zombies mostly. The only benefit of matilda is accuracy upgrade.
What ppl don't say is that Samurai Edge gives you big advantage in playthrough. First you get permanent extra slot (because you don't need ammo) , secondly all the gunpowder you find can be used for shotgun or magnum - this is big bonus to have more ammo for magnum and never worry about handgun ammo going low.
With infinite ammo you can also shoot zombies on the floor without worrying if they get up or not, and if you miss who cares, just shoot as many bullets as you want.
