Lost clover key help pls
Hi I am stuck on my res 2 game, I’m up to the part 9 trying to get the key card for garage, Iv found the fist micro chip and currently trying to get the jack handle in order to get to the tower for next chip, but.... the problem I have, earlier in the game when your in the interrogation room, and a lurker jumps through the glass.. I ran ofc and carried on through the game until now I have discovered in order to get through to the the other side to the record room where the jack handle is, I need to be able to get through the locked club door in the observation room ? That I did not unlock earlier in the game, and now I have no key for it? It just disappeared out my inventory? Yes I have checked my storage it’s completely gone. So what do I need to do? Please don’t say start over, is there something I’m missing !thanks for reading

According to all this I assume you play as Claire? If so, you can relax. Claire never get the club key. But it doesnt matter if you have it in that case. Just WALK back inside the interrogation room. The Licker will hang out at the ceiling. Walk up to the broken window and jump over the ledge.
There is not much to be found there except some ammo and a note with a code for one of the safes.

Thanks I thought I may have messed up there, cos it’s shows as a club key door and I never had one, that explains it then, as different sides to the game with each player, I was watching the video with him not her, thanks for the quick reply.

As Leon, you never get the heart key.

Also its not a clover its a club, not trying to be that guy but the keys are based around the four suites of a deck of cards, Heart key, Club key, Spade key, Diamond key, you get the idea.

Except it isn't. Only noobs who don't play cards say "clovers" because they don't remember how they are called.
Sure, the drawing is a clover, but the name of the suit of cards is Clubs. Non negotiable.

Except it is, since the suites of the French playing cards in English are also called hearts, pikes, clovers, and tiles (considering this is what their names *are*). Of course, if you only met the cards in American poker movies, you cannot know such basic things, but those who held some cards in their hands in real life do.

I held cards as a child and my family went by Hearts, Clubs, Spades and Diamonds.
Edit: even the game both the remake and the original called them by those suites.
Spade key, Diamond key, Club key and Heart key.

Also they called pikes, crosses, hearts and tambourine\bells.
Each country has different names,
But ofc americans that dont know difference between Iraq and Iran would think that there is only one true way to call cards, right?

It's not. We're speaking in English here and it's called Clubs. Non negotiable. You call it Clovers you get laughed at. It's Clovers in other languages, not in English. Yes, in French it means Clovers.. but it's not Clovers either, is it? It's whatever French word translates to Clovers but it's not supposed to be translated literally, because it was given a name in English and it's called Clubs. Only kids call it Clovers because they can't remember how is it called or people who never play cards. You probably call Spades Up side down black hearts, right? That's what people who don't play cards do.

Besides.. back to the point.. the damn key in RE2 is called what? I wanna hear from you. Is it Clover Key? How is it called?

In the game in English it is called the CLub key, yes, if you examine it. Otherwise, it is "Key" that has a clover sign.
And no, it is also called Clovers in English as well. Clovers, Pikes, Tiles and Hearts has been the traditional and original name of the suites and you can hear plenty of people from the UK still call them that. Especially if they have not learnt poker on them first but some other game. Heck, those were the names I learnt back then before the US films and the original RE2 showed me these more widespread ones. That still won't change the fact that the suit originally was called Clovers in English.

Well... I give up arguing about that. Everyone has the right to be wrong... so I will let you be now. Bye.
