Ofc it's a Konami game, but they aren't doing anything with it.
I'd like to see the Silent Hill 4 the Room get the RE engine treatment. That game's sound design was spine chilling.
I remember buying chocolate milkshake at school to bring home and drink it when my elder brother played the game.
The real franchise name, Biohazard, tells you all you need to know: big corporations messing with biological experiments with catastrophic results and cool guys and gals figuring it all out in a B-movie setting.
That's what is, what it always has been and what should be expected of it. Why even compare to SH?

It was a decent psychological thriller.
A great example is Rule of Rose. Most retailers didn't want to carry it. Anything about children gets censored so easily, especially when it comes to video games.
Edit: also its not just visually, the bus in Death Toll in L4D1 was once gonna be a school bus but because of just the THOUGHT of children being harmed ended up pressuring Valve into changing that bus from a school related bus to a church related one... yeah to be quite honest I don't understand how that was a-ok while a school bus wasn't, children go to church just about as much as school but ♥♥♥♥ it apparently the people that originally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about that to be changed are sinners.
