Leon 2nd run final boss
I cannot seem to beat him cuz I ran outta ammo. Is there a way to conserve ammo and end this once for all? I guess the flamethrower don't work at all? He has a heart that beats. That is his weak spot to make him weak and fail. I hate the Tyrant so much! Tips? I can always go back to back and conserve the shotgun ammo.

Constantly strafe and run around to avoid attacks. If you have any gunpowder left, use it to make more ammo. When he roars and Leon says: "Uh oh! Not good!", that means an Instant kill move is coming up. You can cancel his charge attack with Flash grenade or Hand Grenade.

If you survive long enough, Ada will give you a Rocket Launcher with 4 shots to kill the Tyrant, so survive as long as you can.

I assume you mean the Super Tyrant, although it is not the 2nd scenario final boss.

Yes, just run in a counter-clockwise circle for 210 seconds, and if Leon says "Uh-oh" or similar because the Tyrant roars, then either shoots its heart with a powerful weapon or make sure there is a large boulder between the two of you. Once that invisible timer is up, it will be ridiculously obvious what you need to do next.

The only other reason to use ammo is to speed up that timer. If you can make it stagger back in pain, the timer speeds up, and you can do it three times in total.

This is more or less about it.

Do NOT underestimate the Matilda. It gave me the last stagger I needed for the fight to end. I shot him twice in the heart and he stumbled.

Mr X runs at your speed, maybe even faster. Stick close to the railings of the lift and run perfect circles without taking shortcuts, shortcuts benefit him more than you.

Flash grenades are useless at any moment besides the times it is rushing you for a one hit KO.

Since you are low on ammo, use Matilda to damage it and the shotgun and magnum to stop it when he rushes at you. Once you run out of one, switch out to the other. Use the shotgun only it stands still.

The flamethrower DOES work. It lets you keep your distance and DOTs him. Do not be fooled by the lack of stoppping power, use it as you would the Matilda and aim at its heart !

IMPORTANT ! ! !

You cannot dodge Mr X's one hit kill attack by running it into a boulder if you are on hardcore. It will run through it and kill you !

The flamethrower only does DoT, it cannot hurt the heart hitbox and cause a flinch animation, and it can only prevent one attack animation. The damage is pointless since you cannot really kill the Tyrant through damage, and the lack of flinching means there is zero reasons to use the flamer beyond making a pretty moving human-shaped torch out of it. It is not as utterly useless as against G4, but not particularly useful either.

Now that I read the topic more closely... yeah OP if you had a hard time fighting Mr.X then you're probably gonna have an even harder time fighting G5.

Doubtful since G5 was never meant to be difficult. Since he uses the same mechanics as Eveline Stage 1 from RE7, you can literally one-shot him. I have never seen anyone ever dying to G5 on the classic or remake, assuming they did not go there completely unarmed.

I actually did die to G5 once as Claire, mainly because I just ended up spending a bit too much ammo (literally all of the minigun ammo) on G4, resulting in me being very under equipped to handle G5 to where I actually had to fall back on the spark shot to finish the fight the second try.

You get a knife in the car before. You can kill G5 in a single slash, although it is a lot safer to do it in two or three.

No offense but I'm not about to get in what's without a doubt instant kill range just to try and knife a boss like G5 to death!
