Though would've be nice if you just asked a little earlier before quitting the game so that your problem can be solved. Guess it doesn't matter now...
What am I supposed to click elsewise ?
Sorry, but I have been a little bit impatient this afternoon.
So sorry for issues, but I cannot recreate it.
What exactly are you doing, step-by-step? Which campaign and which hero do you select? Do you have any mods installed? Could you also make a screenshot?
Les
Btw, I would be grateful, if you could be more patient.
Well, let's have a look on the issue:
While starting, I get following message:
"Game is running in 32-bit mode and performance might be severly affected.
If your system is 64-bit and this message is shown please contact us at
support@age-of-fear.net"
Well, it is a system running 32-bit (Win7), so nothing to worry about, I think (I hope).
First menu:
I take "New Campaign"
I take "Human Kingdom"
I take "Novice (Easy)" (I am totally rofl about your comment on difficulty Master)
"OK"
Text "From the King's Sea to ..." - I take "Continue"
Note "Welcome"
Note "This game is an introduction ..."
Note "(during the game, you will be able to recruit and capture other units)"
I take "Continue"
"Select your hero" - I stay with the knight (warrior), he is checked and I click "OK"
Note "Various locations will unlock ..."
Note "The economy of the kingdom ..."
I take "Continue"
(*)
Now I am on the recruiting screen: Treasure 500 gp, Team size 6, 5 Buttons below.
I take "Continue" - A window pops up
"EXIT -
You are to leave recruiting and continue your adventure.
Are you sure?
There is still a place in your team for additional units.
It is advised to recruit and fill-in your team before continuing!"
Two buttons, "Yes" and "No". I took "Yes" on first try, but the other has the same result.
I am still in the recruiting screen and can click "Continue" again, well, it seems, I just stepped back to "(*) Now I am on the recruiting screen ..."; the screen has full functionality and simple waiting leads nowhere, too. Spending all gp adds soldiers and team size goes +1, but it changes nothing else. Uh, wait ... the background picture (the street) disappears on first try after choosing "Yes" or "No" ...
P.S.: Undead, expirienced - leads to the same result.
Well, the system requirements of the game are low enough and shouldn't be an issue,
but I have no clue. Or is it lagging heavily at this point on a 32-bit system ?? - The Notes
appear quite slowly one after the other. But as mentioned before, waiting doesn't seem to be the key here ... don't tell me, I have to be more patient :)
Press continue, background image is gone, but I'm stuck with the recruitment UI and the same question pops up everytime I press continue.
Also running on a 32-bit Win10.
Also running on a 32-bit Win10 (on a 64 bits old laptop, choosed the wrong install for Win 10 on the probably false hope that it would be lighter and less straining on the processor)
I'm starting to see a pattern.
Human Campaign too, normal difficulty, mage starting character.
Happening exactly the same way with the Chaos Demon Campaign, so it's not campaign related.
