mods are not working for me

I been trying to use mods for a while now and none of the ones I install are working. It just acts like it the base game. When I go the mod menu all of the ones I install are have no text. When I see video of people using mods they do show up so I have no idea what is going wrong. It is set to beta and I have move everything from tools modding to the root folder for Noita.

Are you sure they're actually installed correctly?

One deeply stupid thing alot of these mods do, is that they unzip into a folder obviously, with the same name as the zip file, but there's ANOTHER folder inside that one that usually also has the name of the mod, and THAT is the one that actually needs to be in the mods folder. They will appear blank in-game and not work until this is done. Why these zip files are set up that way, I cant even guess... it's all sorts of idiotic.

Maybe there's other things that can cause the same problem, but that's how it's always been whenever I run into it.
