Run progress lost

Character progress was lost when I continued a game. As in, the same world loaded, enemies had been slain, wands looted, map explored, but my character was back at the beginning with the starter equipment and no perks.

Was the run fairly late game, like after defeating the boss/going to explore the rest of the map?

No idea. Haven't beat the game. Haven't fought anything I'd consider a boss. I had maybe 3-4 perks.

Hmm, not sure then, I have had my saves be lost after multiple hour long runs, but this sounds like a different problem. Sorry that I couldn't help.

No worries. I don't expect to recover my game. Just wanted to make a bug report in the hopes the devs see it and maybe fix it before release. Seemed like a really weird bug. And it's not like I have the issue every time. Just that one game.
