Help I screwed up my perks
I've been doing a god run right now and I'm trying to prepare for the sun quest. The wiki states that it's basically essential to have 20x stainless armor and ONLY a gas blood perk, because my blood cannot stain me while sun dipping.

Problem is I already picked up an oil blood and a slime blood perk mostly because I wanted the damage resistance and fire immunity. I realized I had to get rid of these perks with the nullifying alter, but I also knew that I still needed the fire immunity perk if I didn't want to lose 1000s of hp whenever I caught on fire (because of my high health and the weird % type damage) So I thought I could just get rid of the slime and oil blood and then grab a fire immunity perk somewhere.

Turns out that the oil blood perk removes fire immunity from the "perk deck," basically meaning that even though I can get rid of the oil blood perk I won't ever be able to find a fire immunity perk in my world, and that's essential for surviving the sun.

So now I'm kind of stuck if I don't basically cheat. The only thing I can do besides using workshop mods (which disable achievements) is editing the Noita save file of my character and manually giving myself fire immunity. I just don't really know how to do that. I'm hoping someone here can tell me how to do this or show me any other way to get another fire immunity perk without the game thinking I'm cheating.

As a side note. There are several other perks also granting projectile resistance such as Revenge tentacles. Those should be ignored as you don't want go full hentai while close to The Sun. Sun isn't into that.

Here’s how I would do it without worrying about it working or getting the save file format correct.

1. Backup your current save.
2. Start a new game.
3. Find the fire immunity perk, either normally or with a mod. There’s a workshop mod called “get a perk” that lets you pick any perk at the start of the game.
4. Open the player.xml file in the save folder and find the fire immunity perk in there. Ctrl + f “PROTECTION_FIRE” should do it.
5. Copy the entire XML element for that perk. It should be indented in your text editor, make sure that you copy everything and including <Entity> and </Entity> (I think that’s the tag name, but it’s pretty obvious once you open the file)
5. Delete that save, restore your backup.
6. Open the player.xml file and copy the fire immunity element into the perks section (where all the other perks are) of your old save.

Nah, you're good. Only the most recent 'blood' type perk you've picked up will apply. So long as you haven't grabbed 'gas blood' yet there shouldn't be a problem, and even if you have there's more nullifying altars in parallel worlds; you should be able to activate one of those and fix it just fine. Additionally, 'saving grace' and 'extra life' are both viable workarounds for this problem provided you can get out of the sun quickly enough and heal back up. (This is how I completed the quest. No gas blood or stainless armor required, even if it was risky as hell and put my heart into my throat for a minute.)

Just to clarify do you mean this text specifically?

I know you've already got your solution, but i just wanted to mention:

There is a built-in way to replace Oil Blood and similar "immunity with side effects" perks with their corresponding immunity perk. (Slime Blood doesn't apply, since there is no corresponding immunity perk.)

It's the Nullifying Altar! Using it would cause both Oil Blood and Fire Immunity to appear even if you only have the first, allowing you to leave Oil Blood behind. Same thing goes with other "immunity with side effects" perks.

I mean i knew you knew the altar existed since you mentioned it, but because you specifically mentioned that you'd still be unable to get Fire Immunity, i thought you didn't know about the Nullifying Alter interaction with Oil Blood that gives you Fire Immunity.
(That information isn't exactly common knowledge, given that it is missing from the wiki.)

I just didn't know that at the time when I posted
