Simple Fungal Shift I never thought of

Poison to toxic. One less thing that can instakill me.

Poison isn't gonna instakill you unless you just picked up glass cannon or you've been polymorphed. Still yeah there are a lot of useful shifts like that. When I'm going for long runs though I tend to stick to getting rid of all 3 polymorphine types. Which tends to reek all kinds of havoc with materials if you get a bad run of transforming things to it instead of from it. Though once I had oil blood perk and accidentally shifted oil to chaotic polymorphine and I became immune to transformed chaotic polymorphine.

Poison deals over 100% damage to you in NG+4 and beyond. One tick of damage and all 3 million of your HP gone

I guess Freeze Field would be a more surefire way to get rid of poison.
Of course, Ominous Liquid could probably still ♥♥♥♥ you up (I never tried if that freezes at all, but then I never bothered playing anything past NG+).
