Noita
Is it possible to win?
I understand a challenge, I get that, but when you have 205 deaths and 0 wins, it's a bit demoralizing. Sure, a lot of my deaths are to just me killing myself, but some are totally unfair, like my foot touching a single invisible pixel of toxic rock and falling over dead, or me falling into a pit, followed by 3 people with shotguns hellbent on ruining my day, or the hoards of enemies in the icy caverns that you couldn't possibly be prepared for unless you were either psychic or lucky with wands.

tl;dr: Salty because I've never won once. It this kind of hair pulling difficulty intended?

If you're looking to go the distance you clear level 1 and 2 as normal, getting as much loot as you can, feel free to restart if you dont get anything you deem good. Once you hit the ice cave force your way right to the chasm and climb back up and get the orb on the right. While climbing there is point on the left side wall that be cut through for another orb (listen closely) using black holes, luminous drill etc. This part used to be free health on your way back up but now you have to fight random creature(s)once you head back to cross lava lake. You probably know how to cross lava lake but if not just poor water all over it or use the freezing field spell.

Now that youre back up to the start you have some options. As mentioned you can go to the pyramid and kill the boss for its wand. Its weak to fire, if you can light it up ive seen it die before extinguishing itself.
Going strait up from the peak of the mountain there is floating island with a heart inside it.
To the left of the first area is the dark cave which has an extra heart in it, use all seeing eye, the torch spell or worm blood to see in the dark. Past that is an area i dont suggest going to but feel free to gamble.
There are some other options on the surface but most of them are more difficult and less profitable.

You have two options when returning to the ice cave, if you just want to get to the next holy mountain to heal and edit wands go back through the chasm on the right side. If you have a good amount of HP and extra space for wands/flasks you can go back through 1 -> 2, clear out any stuff you missed, if youre still going strong you can loot the fungal caverns on the left side of stage 2. If your STILL in good health loot out the rest of the ice caverns why not, watch out for the ice skulls melee insta-kill.

Once you get the 3rd holy mountain you should hopefully have 200-300 hp and enough spells/wands that you have a good chance to make it through.

Alternatively reroll until you get the Electricity perk and the Water Trail spell mod. Put water trail on a green bouncy ball, flood the entire game, electrify 99% the creatures with out them standing a chance and enjoy an easier Noita experience. If you get the Breathless perk on top of this your near invincible all the way until the final boss. Don't mess with polymorphine or frost magic if you do this.

It seems like you're supposed to loot level 1 as much as possible, go to pyramid and get sweet gear

Turns out I had never done that. Thank you for the advice, I'll have to give it a shot.

a good mid-game strategy is to loop back to floor 1 from floor 3, and collect all the easily accessible orbs of knowledge for a substantial hp boost. if you have things like melee immunity, its also a good idea to go kill the boss in the pyramid. If you are prepared for a full run, you should have things like worm blood handy, or the torch, so you can hit the dark cave on floor 1. It has a full health heal in it if your journey above ground isnt going so well and you need to top yourself off. Theres also a lot of techniques you can do to get out of holy mountain without breaking it and angering the gods so that when you loop back around, you can redo your wands if need be. Polymorphine and teleport potion works. A teleport wand is a good thing to have on floor 3, as is a black hole wand, but luminous drill also works. Even chaotic polymorphine is a lot more useful than most people think. If you are low on hp and want to gamble, if you morph into a monster that is peaceful with the monsters around you, you can sneak by them morphed.

you basically have to learn to adept to the rng and plan accordingly. If you find berserkium on floor 1, then you can go heavy with bombs and explosions for digging. If you find invisibilium, abusing the emerald tablet is a good idea. Any seed with ambrosia means you have the potential to get to the parallele worlds safetly. You have to learn to build wands, which means grabbing wands specifically because they have useful spells or mods on them even if the wand itself isnt useful or even useable. Take the good stuff out on holymountain and save it for later. Build your run around the perks, wands, and items you find.

Shout outs to everyone who figured all this stuff out. This is one of those games where I if I didn't have the internet I would have given up a long time ago and just assumed it was impossible, lol.

I must be the only person who thinks that a game that has you reset and start over if you don't get good enough stuff on the first two levels is poorly designed. Not OP but thanks for the tips Cakner. As for OP, I'm sitting at around 350 deaths and 0 wins and I've decided to cut my losses and stop playing. I'm not having fun and it seems like my only drive with Noita is to prove that I can beat it.

I'll read through the next change log when the game is updated to see if anything was fixed but based on past updates and reading other player's experiences, the devs are likely to remove helpful tricks because... well because they don't like you doing that apparently.

Get Glass Cannon, kill everything.

yea it took me 320 deaths and a lot of luck.. ("luck" is just any electric spell. Its the only way to win)

I didn't meant to draw in so much attention, I'll admit, this was created out of salt, but just having a strategy to work on helps me feel better about things. I can work with it, I can keep doing things...that's the important part. It's not just slamming my head on a wall anymore.

Did you finally take my advice?

If you don't pick up any of a certain thing along the way the final boss only has 200 health.

Sometimes in Noita the right option is to move on and not fight or claim anything. I achieved a victory the other day using only Tripleshot and a decent shuffle wand, keep tying and learn your playstyle.
