Steam deck support

Can you please fix the steam deck control? In store it says full support but its honestly ♥♥♥♥. It does not support the backside buttons which could be used for quick inventory buttons 1-8. It does not even support the touchpad which could be used as mouse while in inventory. The really frustrating thing is when you switch wands... sometime your controls just stopped working leaving your character dead in water until you go to menu and back. This honestly killed me several times.

It's "supported" because the game runs on Deck by default with no additional settings/ adjustments.
The controls now work off of the Xbox controller layout, also a default option. There is/ was a steam Deck specific controller layout that made use of the back pedals and touchpad, pretty sure you can still find it.
