Kivi has disappeared
So I was just about to kill the rock boss (https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/Kivi) when I notice it's not in it's temple. I've had that happen before and that time I found it to the right just constantly falling then teleporting back up. This time, however, it is nowhere to be seen.
Does anyone know where it might have got to? Or a way to find the co-ordinates in the save file?

The wiki says it's id is "boss_sky".
I can find mention of "biome_boss_sky" in the save files, which is of no help. There is "data/entities/animals/boss_sky" in two files but they are binary so I'd need to know how to decode them.
I can't use a mod as that would require starting a new game, I'd rather kill it in my current game as I've got everything set up to do so.

I decoded the binary entity files following the instructions on the wiki (https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/Engine:Entity_Files) and got it's location as being somewhere between x = 7358 to 7418 and y = -4573 to -4623. That's the approximate location of it's temple. So I guess it's just plain missing.
Annoying bug, now I'm going to have to start a new run to kill it.

I'd definitely see it if it were there as a green health bar shows when you are near bosses.

I experienced this same problem. My guess is it is somehow caused by having loaded Kivi in and then leaving. I happened to fly by Kivi Temple, close enough to get the Wet stain from Kivi's aura, and left. I came back much later all prepared to kill Kivi, and it was absent. :(

Kivi is, unfortunately, a physics entity. I've experimented a bit. It tends to escape its temple to the roof. Somehow. Then it jumps off. Problem. Physics entities cant collide with unloaded areas, so it just falls thrugh the ground at the desert and keeps falling forever. Solution? NG+, new run. *maybe* parallel world but i'm not sure if its present in those, so YMMV if you try. Prevention? Don't load Kivi Temple before the fight. Boss can't move if it isn't loaded. Distance to maintain? About four screen widths. vertical. Reccomendation on how to do this? Ominous Temple is directly above the fish pond west of the mountain. Go there and left on the cessation chain.

Save file hacking? I am somewhat capable of it but not competent yet to find Kivi for you. Sorry.

Is it still alive, though? Yes. it is somewhere deep under the desert, wherever the game unloaded it. So an alternative solution is to destroy the world in an upwards direction. starting from maybe Work Hell near the moon, leaving one large undestroyed horizontal segment on screen at all times to catch the stupid little ♥♥♥♥ when it loads in. If velocity is preserved at unload, it may be falling so fast that it falls through tons of these before its pixel coordinates align well enough to cause collision.

If you do this, the result will be ??????????? regarding postboss events. Most likely, some will occur at Kivi Temple when you next visit, some will occur on the spot, but it could either be all there, all where you are, or failure to occur. PWs, NG+, or new run are certain to be less potentially buggy.
