Runestone of Emptiness?

Seems to have about the same weight/range of throwing as an Emerald Tablet.

Anyone figure out what it does/what it interacts with yet?

If you look at it in your inventory, it says something along the lines of "[...] You feel like kicking it"

If you kick it, it'll start sending out circular energy pulses that dissipate once they reach a radius of about 1/3 - 1/2 of your screen width.

Any projectiles (including your own) that hit one of those rings immediately disappears.

There exist other runestones, which will each change projectiles into different types.

I'd say they might be interesting for bossfights maybe. Moving the runestone of emptyness to the altar above spawn did nothing for me. There is probably more to this.
