Did 34 orb but no Ruby Amulet?

Just completed a 34 orb run with only 1 mod (the Timer UI mod) enabled halfway into the run, and didn't get the Ruby... I got both the crown and gold amulet with multiple mods enabled, so why not this?

Just did another 34 orb with 0 mods enabled, even seeing the cauldron room in NG+, and still have no ruby. FML

I thought it was a 33 orb run not 34?

This happened to me too, I did a 34 orb run with no mods. and countless hours trying to use EoE in the correct pixel until I finally got it..

it bugged for me too, no gem.

save00/persistent/flags. Copy a file there and rename it "secret_amulet_gem". Only the filename matters.

Bit late ik but this still comes up when you search how to obtain.
You need to kill the boss with 34 orbs.
You complete the work with the sampo but when you have all 34 orbs and pick it up it'll be called the amulet of yendor. This will give the ruby.

Wait you can just add the amulet without getting 34 orbs through adding a text file called "secret_amulet_gem" ?
